Getting a driver’s license in Vancouver

In British Columbia, a new representative or his/her family members who wish to obtain a driver’s licence should visit the

ICBC Royal Center Driver Licensing Office

1055 West Georgia Street, Suite 221

with the following documents: original driver’s licence, translation if required, ID issued by Global Affairs Canada and passport with an acceptance sticker in it. The office is open from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please note that fees for most licensing services for foreign representatives in British Columbia are waived, including passing a new driver’s licence test for family members of foreign missions.
